Squad Pages, Scores, and Payments
Overview
The squad page is where registered bowlers can see the details for one specific squad.
It is also where BowlBoard surfaces lane assignments, payment status, team membership, and score information once the squad is active or complete.
How To Access It
Open a tournament page, then click Squad Details for a squad.
What The Squad Page Shows
Top section
The current squad page includes:
- event name
- tournament name
- squad date and time
- bowling center link
- calendar actions:
- Add to Google Calendar
- Download ICS
Main info cards
The page can show:
- team size
- entry fee
- games per squad
- payout ratio
- tournament scoring settings
- registration cutoff
- payment method summary
Registration Status
Depending on the viewer and the squad state, BowlBoard can show:
- You are registered for this squad
- Register for this Squad
- Create Your Team
- Registration closed
- Squad is full
- Self-registration is disabled for this event
What Registered Bowlers Can See
If you are registered, the page can show:
- paid or unpaid entry status
- lane assignment
- team name and team members for team events
- Manage team if you are the captain
- a link to View Registered Bowlers
If online payments are enabled and your entry is unpaid, the squad page can also show Pay with Stripe.
Scores And Lane Shifts
Once scores exist, the squad page can show:
- scratch total
- handicap totals when applicable
- total series score
- per-bowler score rows
- team totals for team events
If lane shifting is enabled and a lane assignment exists, the page can also show Per-Game Lane Assignments.
Side Pots
The squad page can list:
- bracket entry counts
- eliminator paid status
- Match Play availability
If the bowler is eligible and still inside the cutoff, the page can direct them back into registration to add side pots.
View Registered Bowlers
The Participants page for a squad shows the current roster.
For guest entries, BowlBoard can show Claim profile when the signed-in user's first and last name match the guest record on the page.
Notes
- Times on the squad page are shown in the bowling center's timezone when that data exists.
- Registration and payment messaging changes based on whether the viewer is already registered.
- The public squad page is separate from the manager's squad dashboard.
