Manager Help in BowlBoard

Overview

Detailed documentation for tournament managers and directors now lives inside BowlBoard instead of on the public docs site.

Use the in-app help center for workflows such as:

  • organization settings, verification, and credits
  • creating tournaments and events
  • event setup and squad scheduling
  • managing bowlers, wait lists, and side pots
  • desk check-in
  • lane assignments and printing
  • publishing tournaments

Before You Begin

  • You need a BowlBoard account.
  • You need manager or director access to an organization before the protected help center will open.
  • If you still need organization access, start with Request Tournament Director Access.

Steps

  1. Sign in to BowlBoard.
  2. Click Help in the top navigation.
  3. If your account already has manager or director access, BowlBoard opens the protected help center.
  4. Start with First-Time Setup or open the specific workflow page you need from the left navigation.

What Happens Next

  • Managers and directors can read the protected help pages inside BowlBoard.
  • Bowlers and public users stay on the public docs site.
  • If your account does not have manager or director access yet, BowlBoard keeps you on the public docs.

Notes

  • The public docs site still covers bowler and public workflows.
  • The in-app help center uses the same BowlBoard login session as the management tools.
  • Only accounts with manager or director access can open the protected manager guides.

Troubleshooting

I signed in, but Help still takes me to the public docs

Your account probably does not have manager or director access yet.

I need access to create tournaments

Start with Request Tournament Director Access.
