Browse Tournaments and Tournament Pages

Overview

BowlBoard's public tournament area starts at Browse Tournaments and then branches into tournament detail pages and squad detail pages.

These public pages are what bowlers, teammates, and spectators use to understand what is available before registering.

How To Access It

Open Browse Tournaments.

What the page shows

  • Your Current Registrations when you are signed in
  • All Tournaments grouped by month
  • filters for:
  • All States
  • Jump to: All Months
  • status badges such as:
  • Open
  • Waitlist
  • Completed

Actions from the browse page

Depending on the tournament state, BowlBoard can show:

  • View Details
  • Register Now
  • Join Waitlist
  • View Standings
  • Edit Registration for your current registrations

Tournament Detail Page

What it shows

The tournament page currently includes:

  • the tournament name and date range
  • bowling center link
  • Register Now or Edit Registration
  • View Standings
  • a tournament description when one exists
  • expandable event cards

What event cards show

Each event card can include:

  • team size
  • entry fee per bowler and full-team total for team events
  • pricing increase notice when pricing tiers change later
  • games per squad
  • payout ratio when configured
  • event format summary and stage list
  • lane-shift details
  • event description
  • prize summary when configured
  • squads grouped by date

What Happens Next

  • Clicking View Details stays on the tournament page.
  • Clicking a squad's Squad Details button opens the squad page.
  • Clicking Register Now or Edit Registration starts the registration flow.

Notes

  • Public tournament cards can show different primary actions depending on whether the tournament is open, waitlisted, or complete.
  • The tournament page can also show an All-Events section when that side pot is enabled.
  • Event cards are expandable, so new users may need to open them to see squads and details.
