Adding/Joining Your Organization

Anyone can create and manage a tournament in BowlBoard. To begin, you must first request access to be a director of an organization, or the director in your organization must request that you are added as a director or manager to the existing organization.

A tournament director has ownership-level access to an organization and can create tournaments. They have full access to everything within the organization, including tournaments, finances, and side pots.

A tournament manager can manage existing tournaments that were created by a tournament director.

Adding Your Organization

If your organization is not yet on BowlBoard, and you are a director for that organization, you can request to become a tournament director.

  1. Go to the Request Tournament Director Access page.
  2. Fill out all required fields. The contact information fields will be public and provided to tournament participants.
  3. Check the boxes for which additional profile fields, in addition to first and last name, your organization requires for tournament registration. This can be modified later in Organization Settings.
  4. Provide the names and email addresses of any additional directors or managers you'd like to have added to the organization, and specify who should be a director, and who should be a manager. They should already have registered accounts on BowlBoard - otherwise they will not be given access until then.
  5. Click Submit Request.

Your request will be reviewed by our staff. We may reach out for further information, if necessary, before approving or denying your request.

Once approved, you will receive an email notification confirming that your organization has been added to BowlBoard, and you can start creating tournaments!

Requesting Director or Manager Access to Your Existing Organization

If your organization is already on BowlBoard, please first register for an account with BowlBoard if you haven't already.

Once you've signed up with BowlBoard, ask an existing tournament director to contact us and request that we give you access.
